For best quality, Vectorized artwork will work best. This will allow us to select specific elements to add effects to easily and allow us to print any size without the final product looking pixelated. 

Raster graphics are made up of pixels, so providing artwork with a high resolution is important. Raster graphics should be at least 300DPI.

If you’d like to provide the graphic with the spots you’d like to have the spot gloss effect, in an Adobe Illustrator file, create a second layer that overlaps the graphic, delete sections in that layer that will not have the spot gloss, leaving just the areas that you would like to have the effect. Change the fill color on everything to all one color (Typically black, cyan, magenta, or yellow). 

If the artwork is not provided this way, we will send you a proof showing how the sticker will be sized, the path of where the sticker will be cut, and highlight the areas that will have the spot gloss effect. You can request revisions until you’re satisfied. Once your proofing is completed, your order will be sent into production!

Our stickers are printed with a premium UV cured ink that is much more durable than your typical inkjet inks. To achieve the ‘spot gloss’ effect, we print in layers, a clear ink overtop of the design. This gives the print a slightly textured look and feel to them. 

Due to the ‘raised’ effect, these stickers come unlaminated. Lamination typically helps to add durability and longevity to prints. These stickers will still hold up in the elements, can be washed in the dishwasher, and be used outdoors, but may not last as long as our laminated stickers.
